Day Nine

This is going to be a quick post. I've had an emotionally trying and exhausting day. And the doctor has added another medication to my arsenal in order for me to cope with the pain and hopefully get some decent sleep. I'm getting a little concerned about the amount of medication I am on but that's a topic for another day.

Breakfast this morning was quick and easy. GF toast with almond butter and 1/2 a banana, with a sliced peach on the side. I did 20 minutes of restorative yoga and 10 minutes of meditation after. For lunch I cut up some veggies (yellow pepper, tomato and cucumber) with chipotle hummus (spicy!!) and GF crackers and a few organic corn chips.


Today's cold drink of choice Raspberry herbal iced tea :)
I've been making a different flavour every day. So far, this one and peach-ginger are the best. Tomorrow's flavour is Lemon Zinger.

Dinner tonight was a made up on the spot quickie ratatouille over brown rice with a sprinkle of vegan parmesan "cheese". On the side I made a salad with romaine, spinach, tomato, avocado and blueberries. I dressed it with some GF, vegan sesame dressing. The carnivores had some sole with lime on the plate.


That's it for today. I really need to go and lie down.
